Becoming a lawyer

The steps involved in becoming a lawyer are the following:
1. Complete a 3 year rigorous course at a law school
2. Pass the bar exam in the state where you wish to practice, this exam is usually very tough.
3. Work at a law firm for at least a few years to get some experience. Initially the lawyer may have to work for 12 hours every day or more to meet the deadlines involved.
